Smoking Ban and Umbrella

As it is known, the laws that have been going on since 2009 and new laws are taken to restrict smoking. One of these measures is our sector's cigarette cafe, restaurant and so on. Laws restricting drinking in places. Previously, cafe owners had found a solution for smoking, which could be smoked in open areas on three sides, and then found a solution with pergolas that could be opened against the smoking ban by turning these areas into closed areas by covering the pergolas with glass. In fact, although prohibited by law, some municipalities have tolerated this in order to protect tradesmen. This situation did not escape the eyes of our state. With the forthcoming new legislation, a strict ban on systems that can be closed or shut down by 4 will be imposed.

One of the questions our customers ask us is whether umbrellas will enter these prohibitions. I would like to mention in particular that the umbrella does not fall into this prohibition. However, there are exceptions to this, for example, if you turn the sides of the umbrella closed, you will get stuck. In another example, in places such as playgrounds, shopping malls, in other places where smoking is prohibited, it is forbidden to use umbrellas or any other equipment, no matter what you do.

Undoubtedly, our state is doing its best to reduce smoking and to protect citizens who are uncomfortable with smoking. To complain about this is to think of its own interest, but there is obviously a limit to it.

Despite all the taxes from smoking, you wondered why our state gradually forbids smoking. Because taxes are nothing compared to the health problems experienced by citizens. Tens of patients receiving cancer treatment, dozens of people waiting for transplantation, sickly born children, and so on. in general, smoking is harmful to both health and the state. Citizens who died from smoking are more likely to die than terror.

In short, the use of umbrellas is not prohibited in open spaces where smoking is permitted, because it is open all around. Nevertheless, I say don't move without asking your municipality. This article is for advice only, not binding. It would be more appropriate to get opinions and suggestions from municipal police and municipalities. (at least I don't know what happens next according to the current law!).
